Cochise Oncology was founded in early 2005 and opened it's doors to the public in October of 2006. Dr. Janet Nettleton saw a need in the quiet town of Sierra Vista and quickly acted on it. Since opening our doors in October of 2006, Cochise Oncology has set a standard of practice in Southern Arizona that is hard pressed to be matched elsewhere. When Cochise Oncology began treating in 2006, the idea was to provide state-of-the-art cancer treatment to Cochise County and surrounding areas. Since then, thousands of patients from all over the state and even other parts of the country have recieved top quality care from Dr. Janet Nettleton and Dr. Michael Moore.
Feel at home...
It's hard to understand what a cancer patient and their families endure through the various stages of their illness. With that in mind, shouldn't your clinic make you feel at home? The architectural team of cdg Architects, Mike Wattis Development, and Chestnut Construction has designed a building with the specific needs of cancer patients in mind. Both the sub-waiting area for radiation patients and the chemotherapy suite open onto enclosed courtyards. Natural light is abundant throughout the building. There is a large conference room that will be available to support groups, clergy, nutritionists, massage therapists, and others supportive of our cancer patients. Be sure to check out our multimedia area for images of our state of the art facility!
